House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Wednesday that grandmothers would be forced to live in guest rooms if Republicans successfully repeal Obamacare.
Pelosi and other Democratic lawmakers held a closed-door meeting with President Obama on Capitol Hill to discuss ways to defend ObamaCare from Republican efforts to repeal the law. Apparently, President Obama was fresh out of ideas.
“If you’re a senior, you know Medicaid, almost half of Medicaid, is about long-term health care,” Pelosi said after the meeting. “You want Grandma living in the guest room? You repeal the Affordable Care Act. You go along with–this is part of an initiative that is part of the Ryan budget.”
The democrat approach is nothing new and not the first time Democrats have used grandma to defend their failed policies. Previous attacks from the left include “throwing granny off the cliff.”
If this is the best Obama and Pelosi could come up with, they are in bigger trouble then we thought.
