Trump Team-Russia Collusion Propaganda Falls Flat… Again

Zero evidence. Zip, nata, nil. Any guesses on what the next conspiracy will be?

It’s becoming increasingly clear that we are never going to find any evidence implicating the Trump team in any sort of collusion with the Russians to steal the election from the rightful queen.

Every development with this story has gone nowhere.  We have an unsubstantiated dossier compiled by a former MI6 operative who has admitted that portions of it are unverified.  The only thing that CNN can corroborate is that Russian officials spoke to other Russians, but we don’t know what they talked about.

Congressional representatives have repeatedly implied that there are connections and has been blasted through the liberal media echo chamber… all to no avail.

One thing you can be assured of, if there was a shred of evidence it would be plastered all over the New York Times and Washington Post.  Probably the most telling aspect of this witch hunt of an investigation.

And then earlier this week, FBI Director James Comey testified before Congress regarding the FBI investigation into allegations President Trump worked with the Kremlin to steal the election

In an exchange with Democratic Senator Al Franken, Comey revealed the assumptions underlying his agency’s investigation, which started during the heat of the 2016 presidential campaign, despite any specific evidence of a crime.

“What is your assessment of why the Russian government had a clear preference for President Trump?” Franken asked.

“One is he wasn’t Hillary Clinton,” Comey replied, “who [Russian President Vladimir] Putin hated and wanted to harm in any possible way; and so he was her opponent, so necessarily they supported him.”

Comey added, “Putin believed he would be more able to make deals . . . with someone with a business background.”  A disappointed Franken pressed, wasn’t it also because Trump was “ensnared in their web of patronage?”

“No”, said Comey.

Finally, Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, ventured over to CIA headquarters at Langley, Virginia for a briefing concerning their probe into the allegations.

In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, a dejected Feinstein had to finally admit defeat.  “You don’t have to provides us with any classified information, Senator, but do you believe—do you have evidence that there was in fact collusion between Trump associates and Russia during the campaign?” asked Blizter.

“Not at this time,” replied Feinstein.
